January 2013 - Discovery of Pierre Soulages in Lyon, France

Coming back from New York, I was in the buzz of visiting more exhibition and was lucky enough to have one in Lyon at the "Musee des Beaux Arts de Lyon"

This exhibition "SOULAGES XXI Siecle" was a selection of work created between 2000 and 2012. It is all about the relationship with the artist and l'outrenoir (the invasion of black on a canvas)..

A discovery of textures, black, white, collage, shadow and light from the different angle, a true inspiration work that I wanted to share..

I had few problem with the camera as I couldn't use the flash so some of the pictures are not as sharp as they should have been ;-)
