Discovery of a colourful artist at Tim Olsen Gallery

Colours and organic forms - Artist Talk at Tim Olsen Gallery

This Saturday I was entering a world of colour or should I say explored the land of shapes, organic forms and bold colours from Stephen Ormandy at Tim Olsen Gallery.

Stephen was kind enough to share his passion about colour and the design process which could change slightly from the original by adding or removing a colour.

The intensity and luminosity of the colours are so pleasant and the shapes are soft and strong at the same time. There is a simplicity and complexity in Stephen's work. The lines and shapes make the artwork easy to read and to embrace but a closer look gives you all the depth and the layers of his artwork.

I felt completely in love with his work and was so pleased to have meet him and heard his passion about colours, shapes, lines and sculptures.

I had a fantastic time and to conclude this, Hugh Jackman, his wife and family came to visit the exhibition as soon as I left.. What a better way to finish your day. Love it ;-D
