Sydney East Walk 2012

It was the perfect day for a Saturday walk in the city to discover or rediscover 16 Art Galleries.
With a map in hand and sometimes the help of the iphone as a gps, I was ready for the Sydney East Walk 2012 and embrace all the artworks that Sydney had to offer on display.

Starting at the Drawing Room in Kings Cross
Drawing Room
33 Roslyn Street, Kings Cross

The Artworks from Anita Taylor (Residues / Drawings) were amazing and the contrast between the charcoal drawing on paper and the colourful books made the experience even better.

The Alaska Projects was a little difficult to find and after asking the Car Park tenant and still no sign or clue to where it was.. I moved to the next one ;-D So no pictures for the Alaska Projects ;-(

Next stop at James Dorahy Project Space in Potts Point

James Dorahy Project Space
Suite4/Lev1, 111 Mcleay St, Potts Point

The Artworks at James Dorahy Project Space from Antonia Radich (INTERSTICE) were amazing and so colourful. Her uses of bees-wax and oils in her painting have created an open book for your own imagination to create a story on the canvas.. a landscape, water, the ocean, sunset and more if you want..

The exhibition finishes on the 7th October!!!
